EVERY CHILD COUNTS.

ACV PTO advocate for your child's education, connect the school and community, as well as support special programs.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Our Vision

The Allegheny - Clarion Valley Parent-Teacher's Organization, Inc. (PTO) is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt group established to promote the welfare of children in our schools and the cooperation between home and school.

Our annual budget is raised solely through fundraisers. We urge all families with children attending the ACV Elementary Schools to join as PTO members each school year. Each parent helps augment our children’s school experience and supports our educators in fulfilling their vision.

Parent involvement is a fundamental part of what makes a school community rich and robust. We take great pride in the strength of our PTO and encourage you to learn more about our programs and get involved in any of the many volunteer opportunities that work with your interests and schedule.

WHY VOLUNTEER

VOLUNTEER

VOLUNTEERS MAKE SCHOOLS BETTER

PTO provides support for Administrators and teachers.  The PTO strives to create a caring and positive atmosphere in the school.

THE PTO ISN'T INTIMIDATING

Whether you have a full time or part-time job or are a stay at home parent, there are many PTO parent involvement ideas that fit your lifestyle and time constraints

YOU CAN PLAY ON YOUR STREANGHTS

From event organizer, leadership role, or maybe someone that just enjoys being around kids.  There is a spot for you in the ACV PTO.

VOLUNTEERING IS NETWORKING

Through our children, we often make new friends and connections ourselves. PTO parent involvement ideas offer additional ways to meet people and grow our network.

SHOWING UP MATTERS

Having a presence there shows them that you are invested in their education. It also shows them the importance of being part of a broader community. It gives you the opportunity to role model the value of working together as a part of something bigger.
